Art of Experiencing.....

Found one quotation from Einsten

"In the matter of physics, the first lessons should contain nothing but what is experimental and interesting to see. A pretty experiment is in itself often more valuable than twenty formulae extracted from our minds." - Albert Einstein

this quotation was found in dikti website. It is just ( I forgot the words to show the paradox, help me Andrea hirata...).
If Dikti know this and put this in their website why do not they apply this in daily life of university.

Why university life, mostly, just sit and hear what the lecture said everyday, everytime from morning until afternoon. Why students must sit there, if the real knowledge were out there?
Why they must copy and accept what their lecture said word by word?

Time is changing
Why our curriculum could not open their own way of thinking?

I do believe changing our mind to a new concept does take times...

aristoteles has proposed experiential learning centuries ago.
why don't we take part by starting in our own context first?

@ Bakhri : Yes, time is matter...but dont use it as a reason please. Malaysia do better than us, they have similar time if we compare it from almost similar time of our independent day....

@ Hemma : yeah..why...?
